Serving size is the label's measuring stick
Serving size tells you how much product the Supplement Facts or Nutrition Facts panel is describing. If the label says serving size is two capsules, the ingredient amounts on that panel are for two capsules.
Servings per container is different
Servings per container tells you how many servings are in the package. A bottle with 60 capsules and a two-capsule serving has 30 servings.
Directions can add context
Directions tell you how the product is intended to be used. They may mention timing, water, food, shaking a bottle, or taking the product as directed by a qualified professional.
The common mistake
Do not compare two products by bottle size alone. Compare serving size, amount per serving, servings per container, directions, and price together.
